Jumping on the bandwagon is hardly my thing, you know that. But three trends I haven't been able to resist are ruffled blouses, off the shoulder tops, and denim skirts. However, I'm your average girl who doesn't live a glamorous life 24x7, so I thought I'd make a quick video to show you how to embrace a great fashion trend without getting out of your jammies. All you need to master is three fashion editor's tucking techniques; in order of my outfits:
• Middle tuck: Works great for off-the-shoulder blouses and slouchy sweaters, that way the silhouette doesn't look loose top to bottom and it accentuates your waist
• Full tuck: Perfect when your pajama-outfit needs a little seriousness, more so with a slinky/ short blouse and high-waisted pants
• Half tuck: Literally works with any button-down shirt and pants (trousers, jeans, skirts, shorts) and is a sure-shot way to avoid look too prim or formal
I linked all the jewelry featured in this video at the end of this post.
Big shoutout to Neptune's Coffee, a new eatery and my favorite lounge + work spot in good ole' Alameda.
